The Yumsters are cute stretchy creatures mad about fruit and music. They have to clean up gardens from fruits to earn money for their musical band.Yumsters! is an original game in which you control a bunch of colored and funny characters, that look like worms and must eat fruits of the same color only.
The game has great colorful graphics, nice sound effects, and music. At first the game looks very easy and rather boring; fun starts when you continue playing for a while. To win a level, worms must eat a certain amount of different fruits. To make a worm eat a fruit, you just have to drag it from its hole towards it. However, you can't force them to eat fruits of another color, and also you shouldn't cross Yumsters, otherwise they will get back to their holes and stay there for a few seconds. Nevertheless, you can drag Yumsters from one hole to another to reach a fruit more easily.
There are also other obstacles like bugs or butterflies that will try to slow you down. For every fruit a Yumster eats, you get a coin. These coins give you a further possibility to buy instruments that are useful to win a certain mini-game. Even though there is no time limit, you lose the game if you let the garden be filled with fruits.
What is more, there are useful power-ups and bonuses that help you win a level faster or get more points. You can also win trophies for performing special feasts. The game is pretty long, since you have five different locations with a total number of 57 levels. The locations are amazing and they include different scenarios, like a desert, a forest, and many others. The game is not really challenging, but it will certainly keep you hooked as you progress. I think it is intended mainly for kids, but I had a great time trying it.
